Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individuals to lead our team in providing exceptional care and education to children in a child supervision space setting. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety and educational standards.
- Mentor staff members, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote learning through play.
- Maintain a positive environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
- Ensure that all classroom activities are inclusive for children with disabilities.
- Manage classroom behavior by implementing effective discipline strategies.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adapt programs as necessary.
- Organize staff meetings to discuss curriculum updates, training needs, and team dynamics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Background in classroom management or supervision is preferred.
- Familiarity with toddler care and preschool education methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- A passion for educating young children and fostering their growth through engaging activities.
