Child Care Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. This is an important role that requires patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and toilet training as needed
- Observe and monitor children's behavior to ensure their physical and emotional well-being
- Provide guidance and support in developing social skills and positive behavior
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or similar setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Special education background or training is a plus
