Position Summary:

The Lead will direct activities of operators in the Assembly area to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assembly experience or lead experience in previous employment.
  • Focus on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates Leadership Skills.
  • Must maintain good punctuality and attendance.
  • Must be certified in the inflator manufacturing process.
  • Ability to coordinate and delegate daily tasks to assigned associates.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism during challenging interpersonal conflicts.
  • Ability to run all stations and relieve as needed.
  • Ability to effectively receive and communicate vital shift safety, quality, and
  • production related information to oncoming and off going shift leads.
  • Ability to communicate with quality, maintenance, and engineer group.
  • Ability to efficiently task labor on the lines to maximize production output.
  • Ability to train associates in the inflator process.
  • Ability to perform checklist, component, lot tag, tote count verifications.
  • Ability to run Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to maintain accurate logs.
  • Ability to identify potential quality concerns and communicate to QA and Supervisor.
  • Ability to advocate safe work habits and correct people in violation of PPE.
  • Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot stations, clear and reset faults.

Qualifications:

  • Record keeping
  • Communication
  • Verification and evaluation – cut apart verification and specifications, Spc’s and specifications, finding cause of problem if there is one

Education:

  • High school degree/equivalent

Pay: From $24.17 per hour
