Systems Performance Engineer
Specializing in Occupant Safety and Restraint Systems
We’re seeking a Systems Performance Engineer focused on occupant safety . This role is essential in ensuring our occupant restraint systems—particularly seatbelts and airbags—meet the highest regulatory standards. You’ll work alongside product engineers using cutting-edge simulation software to optimize and validate our life-saving products.
Key Responsibilities
- Model and Validate : Develop and refine FE models for restraint components.
- Testing and Optimization : Ensure components meet performance standards by correlating with test results and conducting studies for optimization.
- Advanced Analysis : Analyze biomechanics data, film, and simulation load cases.
- Seatbelt and Airbag Expertise : Utilize LS-DYNA to model and analyze restraint systems, including airbag integration.
- Support Product Engineering : Assist in component development, DFMEA, and design reviews.
- Stay Current on Regulations : Maintain knowledge of global safety standards (NCAP, IIHS, etc.) and ensure systems comply.
