Position Summary:

The Sr. Sales Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring effective communication, trust, and collaboration. This role will involve managing contracts, purchase orders, and invoices while maintaining client satisfaction and driving business growth. The Sr. Sales Account Manager will also ensure seamless coordination with internal teams to meet customer needs and resolve issues promptly. This position is critical in achieving regional and global sales targets and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract and Invoice Management:
  • Raise and submit contracts and invoices for customer orders.
  • Work with back office to update frame contracts with current purchase orders.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including overdue items.
  • Address any discrepancies between Purchase orders and invoices
  • Customer Collaboration:
  • Manage individual sample and serial part orders.
  • Administer tools POs and invoicing.
  • Communicate with customer to understand needs, explain product value, and build trust-based relationships.
  • Data and Trend Analysis:
  • Collect and analyze customer trends and intel.
  • Report and develop strategies to address critical regional customer concerns.
  • Sales Strategy Execution:
  • Develop and execute strategies with the Sales Director to support regional and global customer initiatives for all product lines.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, including new business booking, margin increases, and accounts receivable.
  • Monitor and report the status of specific customer targets to Sales Management.
  • Customer Service and Issue Resolution:
  • Act as a client advocate, focusing on voice of customer and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve complaints, prevent recurring issues, and propose process improvements.
  • Internal Collaboration:
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to fulfill client needs and ensure solutions are delivered effectively.
  • Support sales teams to improve performance and achieve targets.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Managing the customer portal: reviewing and processing orders, confirming purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
  • Preparing quotes for program extensions and addressing project delays.
  • Communicating with clients regularly to close open commercial issues, provide updates, address inquiries, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Following up on overdue payments and ensuring proper debt account processing.
  • Resolving price differences between POs and invoices, coordinating internal adjustments as needed.
  • Supporting project managers by processing and managing individual orders for samples and serial parts.
  • Monitoring and analyzing industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes, address quality complaints, and resolve incorrect deliveries.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid or office-based role, with occasional travel to meet clients or attend industry events.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and responsiveness to client needs.
  • Collaboration with internal teams across various departments to ensure smooth operations.
