JP Carroll Roofing is seeking a dedicated Project Manager (PM) to oversee roofing installations and ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. As a Project Manager, you will be the key point of contact between the crew, the office, and the customer, ensuring that every roofing job is completed on time and to the highest standards of quality. You will manage the on-site crew, monitor job progress, conduct site walkthroughs, and maintain open communication with the homeowner. This is a hands-on position requiring excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to manage high expectations and deliver superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and adjust scope of work.
- Communicate with customers the day before installation to set expectations and address any concerns.
- Conduct a thorough 360-degree walkthrough of the property before work begins.
- Oversee daily production and ensure all OSHA safety procedures are followed.
- Be present on-site throughout the workday to ensure quality and timely completion.
- Obtain progress photos with detailed notes throughout the project.
- Perform the final walkthrough with the customer, ensuring all work is completed to satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Ensure the job site is cleaned up, with all materials returned, and photos of the completed project taken.
- Ensure that final payments are collected on-site.
- Ask every customer for a review.
- Conduct Neighborhood Outreach at each job site.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and customers.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Knowledge of roofing materials and installation techniques will be training but prior knowledge is a plus
- Proven experience as an on site Project Manager in the roofing industry or a similar construction field is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as required for inspections.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
