What we are looking for

We're seeking a Warehouse Supervisor with strong leadership abilities who can manage daily operations while maintaining our exceptional safety standards. The ideal candidate will lead by example, train and develop team members, and ensure operational efficiency. This role requires someone who can maintain our safety-first culture while driving productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and train teams of 5-15 warehouse associates
• Schedule staff and manage time-off requests to meet operational demands
• Participate in hiring decisions and conduct new employee training
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and conduct regular evaluations
• Address attendance and workplace conduct issues promptly and professionally
• Oversee receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations
• Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control
• Enforce all safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Conduct regular safety inspections and meetings
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements
• Maintain 5S standards throughout the warehouse
• Train team members on equipment operation and safety protocols
• Hold effective performance conversations with team members who aren't meeting expectations
• Cross-train associates to ensure operational flexibility

Qualifications:

Must Have:

• 3-5 years of warehouse operations experience
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Valid Minnesota state driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in at least one type of equipment operation (Forklift, Cherry Picker, or Turret)
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience maintaining safety standards
• Ability to make decisions independently
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical, drug testing, and background check

Preferred Skills:

• OSHA 30-hour certification (must be obtained within 6 months if not currently certified)
• Multiple equipment operation certifications
• Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Intermediate experience with inventory management systems
• Familiar with 5S methodology
• Previous experience in e-commerce fulfillment, Amazon, FedEx, UPS
• Training certification or experience

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position
• Standard shift: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Flexible schedule required for peak seasons (September through December)
• May include occasional weekday or weekend coverage for other supervisors
• During peak season, may require up to 10-hour days
• Physical requirements include walking several miles per day, standing for extended periods, and occasionally assisting with team lifting of items over 50 lbs
