General Definition of Work
Provide job site coordination for support at all phases of projects. Includes communicating and directing employees, tracking and managing materials, equipment, quality control and keeping work on schedule. The superintendent is the eyes and ears out in the field and is the liaison between the field and the office.
Essential Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass drug screen and background check (requirement for federal contracts)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Able to travel as needed
- Electrical experience is beneficial
- Ability to follow procedures and make operational decisions and judgments
- Effectively manage day-to-day interaction with clients, general contractors, field personnel, office personnel, vendors, and staff from a variety of departments
- High attention to detail, follow up and excellent customer service
- Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with co-workers, supervisors & clients
- Proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues
- Be able to read, understand and articulate project plans
- Be able to utilize basic computer applications as it relates to the submission of various documentation required by the position. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Provide, Organize, & Maintain Project documentation
- Coordination between all parties involved in project
- Manage daily progress
- Ensure compliance with schedule, budget, safety, Labor, & quality requirements
- Oversee effective & efficient performance/execution of work- (safe & correct)
- Track daily activity against schedule
- Monitor & document project issues / delays
- Supervise onsite
- Always utilize positive interactions with Clients & Team members
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- Physical Requirements:
This work requires the regular exertion of up to 50 pounds of force, frequent exertion of up to 25 pounds of force. work regularly requires standing, walking, speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, tasting or smelling, pushing or pulling, lifting and repetitive motions and occasionally requires sitting; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires operating machines and observing general surroundings and activities; work regularly requires working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
