Inventory Control and QC Inbound Specialist

Position Responsibilities:

• Schedule all inbound raw material shipments.
• Perform QC inspection on all inbound shipments.
• Enter all inbound raw materials into Macola in a timely manner for inventory control.
• Responsible for Inventory Control.
• Perform cycle counts on daily basis following a strict schedule.
• Perform inventory adjustments in our system on daily basis.
• Responsible for accelerated quarterly cycle counts.
• Coordinates with plant manager and production control for year-end physical inventory.
• Responsible for ordering and keeping adequate stock levels of office & plant supplies, tapes, and labels.
• Assist Plant Manager with various projects
• Variety of other plant special projects when called upon.
• Present a professional and cordial attitude towards plant visitors, customers, and vendors.
• Answer all incoming phone calls when in the office.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication & math skills required
• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent, some college preferred
• Extremely detail oriented and meticulous with good organizational skills
• Must have general understanding of computers with data entry skills
• Strong clerical skills to help with any organizational & recording responsibilities
• Must be self-motivated
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Production & Inventory Control is preferred
• Ability to take direction from management & work independently with minimal supervision
