Our Total Recycle Division, located in Birdsboro, PA is currently searching for a Yard Jockey due to growth!

Shift & Hours:
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday
- 2:00PM to 10:30PM
- Mandated Saturdays as needed
What You Will Do:
- Drive tractor trailers and other commercial vehicles on site to facilitate loading and staging of trailers/trucks.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the truck.
- Operate the truck in accordance with all local, state and federal DOT regulations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Verify loading is performed to proper weight.
- Maintain any related records required, i.e. work orders, special request work, Vehicle Condition Reports, Pre-Trip inspections, etc.
- Keep trucks and surrounding work areas in a clean condition to ensure the vehicle meets company expectations to include cab.
- Report any maintenance issues on the vehicle condition report and report it immediately to the station or operations manager.
- May be required to drive other vehicles for which properly trained and qualified.
- Immediately reports to the company and accident, traffic violation, or license suspension.
- Special projects and other job duties as assigned.
What You Have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must meet all required DOT physical and medical requirements and pass a substance abuse screening. As a safety sensitive employee, all drivers are subject to random substance abuse screening under DOT and company policy.
- Requires a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle to prevent damage to truck, equipment, or surrounding items.
- Ability to sit in the cab of the truck for long periods. Able to bend, stoop, and climb into and out of the vehicle and body unassisted repeatedly through a typical work shift.
- Able to perform manual labor jobs between jockeying.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
- May be required to exit and enter truck multiple times during a shift and may be required to push/pull wheeled containers weighing up to several hundred pounds into position for pick up.
