What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Assistant position at JP OIL SERVICES, LLC?
Responsibilities
- Speak directly with vendors about balances, invoices, timing of payments, etc.
- Scan and index invoices directly into DOCVUE
- Enter invoices in OGSYS via DOCVUE, send invoices for comment and approval to supervisors
- Pay invoices thru OGSYS (printing checks, sending ACH/Wires)
- Handle daily cash duties to report the daily cash balance from the previous day to management
- Participate in Monthly AP Meetings
- Must have JIB accounting experience
- Tracking and reconciling joint expenses, preparing joint interest billing statements
- Assist accounting department in any needed capacity- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Handle incoming calls and returning calls
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with order entry and processing
- Provide general administrative support to staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
