Job Title: Accounting Manager
Pay: $90,000 / year
Job Type: Full-Time, 100% on-site
Shift: Mon - Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM

Job Description
The Accounting Manager performs a wide range of responsibilities. The Accounting
Managers must be able to prioritize projects and is expected to have a strong handle on multi-
tasking. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Duties and Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable: Invoice processing, payment recording, bank deposits, delinquent payment follow-ups, and mechanics liens.
Accounts Payable: Process and pay invoices, vendor credit applications, and annual tax forms (1099, 1096).
Payroll: Review and process payroll, taxes, 401K contributions, and annual reports (W-2, W-3).
Financials: Prepare weekly reports and monthly financial statements.
Accounting Tasks: Bank reconciliations, budgeting, contract reviews, tax filings, and record maintenance.
Sales Support: Process job proposals, open job folders, and handle lien/insurance documents.
Other Duties: Answer calls, manage credit cards, and provide office and operations support.
Job Requirements – Minimum Qualifications:
- Skills required to perform the functions of the job include: operating standard office equipment; a good understanding of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; the ability to multitask and prioritize; perform standard record keeping.
- Knowledge to perform all aspects of accounting, including producing and evaluating of financials.
- Ability to collate data; flexibility to work with a wide diversity of individuals; prioritize multiple job tasks throughout the day and flexibility to change direction as needed; ability to meet deadlines and schedules.
Work Environment:
- The client is in a construction-based environment with a casual dress code. The job consists of approximately 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing.
