Job Description
We are currently hiring highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineers in Tampa, FL.
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bringing our products through the systems engineering life cycle, including designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that support our customer missions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of hardware, software, and network components to achieve optimal system performance and reliability.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with a strong technical background and a passion for building robust systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and implement complex systems architecture to technical requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate capabilities into the overall system architecture, considering both technical and operational aspects, and align delivery plans with overall project timelines and milestones.Support installation and configuration of system hardware, operating systems, and software applications.Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration details, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, assisting with system-related issues.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field6 years experience working as a Systems Engineer or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologiesProficiency in designing and implementing complex systems architectureSolid understanding of hardware, operating systems, network protocols, software applications, and cloud technologiesExperience with system integration, testing, and troubleshootingExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyEligible to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)HIGHLY DESIRED
Master’s degree in engineering or a related fieldActive TS / SCI security clearanceExperience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)Experience in a customer-facing or consulting roleExperience with system architectures that include software containerization, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure
