Job Overview – NCCCO Certified Crane Operators Only
We are hiring experienced, NCCCO-certified Crane Operators to handle heavy lifts in industrial, construction, and off-road environments. This is a specialized role—applicants must have direct crane experience, not general labor or equipment operation.
What We Require:
- NCCCO Certification – Required
- Proven experience operating heavy cranes – Off-road, rough terrain, and knucklebooms
- Ability to work long shifts – 10-12 hour shifts, 50-80 hours per week
- Strong knowledge of lift plans, load charts, and rigging procedures
- MSHA and OSHA Compliance Knowledge – Must be able to operate within safety regulations
- Reliable transportation and ability to work across various job sites in South Carolina
Key Responsibilities:Crane Operation & Rigging:
- Operate 100-ton rough terrain cranes, 25-ton knucklebooms, and other heavy lifting equipment
- Execute lifts safely and efficiently, adhering to OSHA/MSHA standards
- Set up and inspect cranes before operation to ensure full functionality and safety
- Work with riggers and ground crews to ensure precision and smooth execution
Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform daily inspections, oil changes, and lubrication on assigned cranes
- Report and assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed
Job Site Support:
- Travel to various industrial, construction, and specialized sites across South Carolina
- Maintain a safety-first mindset, ensuring full compliance with regulations
- Work long shifts (10-12 hours) with potential for weekends and overtime
Required Qualifications:
- NCCCO Certification – Required
- Proven experience operating heavy cranes (rough terrain, knuckleboom, off-road cranes)
- Familiarity with lift plans, rigging, and load charts
- Understanding of MSHA and OSHA safety standards
- Ability to work long shifts (10-12 hours) in a physically demanding environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Class B CDL or higher
- Experience working in construction, mining, or industrial lifting operations
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills for crane maintenance
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting Pay: $25.00 - $35.00
- Hours: 50-80 hours per week (10-12 hour shifts, OT available)
