Job Overview:
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Logan, WV, and surrounding areas. This role is crucial to maintaining the operational efficiency of mining equipment. You will play an integral part in ensuring our clients experience minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on mining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan.
• Provide hands-on technical support at mining sites, addressing equipment failures to minimize production disruptions.
• Collaborate with service teams to resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Assess equipment performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to critical equipment failures, prioritizing safety and minimizing downtime.
• Execute emergency repairs in adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Create detailed service reports for internal and client use.
• Communicate with clients to understand concerns and provide technical support.
• Offer training on equipment operation, maintenance best practices, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certification or technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or mining equipment maintenance.
• Proven experience in repairing and maintaining heavy mining machinery.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong diagnostic abilities with a track record of resolving equipment issues efficiently.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make effective decisions.
