Job Title: .NET Engineer (Risk Management Systems)
Location: Back Bay/Copley, Boston (Onsite 4 days/week)
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated .NET Engineer to join a leading hedge fund’s risk management and portfolio analytics team. This is a unique opportunity for a strong communicator with leadership potential to contribute to and grow within a team that develops proprietary risk management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain risk management and portfolio analytics software utilizing C# and .NET technologies.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, risk analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective, scalable solutions.
- Lead discussions and communicate technical challenges, solutions, and project updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and system diagrams to ensure ongoing application maintenance and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews, uphold best coding practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable software.
- Design and optimize system architecture for scalability, performance, and long-term sustainability.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on C#, .NET, SQL, and ORM technologies.
- Experience in portfolio management, risk modeling, risk analysis, or OMS systems.
- Preferred: Prior experience in building large-scale, proprietary risk management systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Leadership potential with the ability to oversee risk system development as you grow within the role.

- Technical Test: Candidates will be required to complete a technical test after the initial HR conversation.
