Position Overview:
The Enterprise Operations Command Center (EOCC) at Cigna is focused on enhancing the availability and reliability of IT infrastructure to improve patient and client outcomes. The center works to reduce resolution times and improve situational awareness and accountability in IT operations. As part of this effort, we are looking for a Technical Support professional to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of enterprise system performance.
• Make recommendations for improvements and system upgrades.
• Provide routine technical assistance and resolution for non-complex network issues.
• Apply standard techniques and procedures to routine IT issues, offering professional knowledge in specialized areas.
• Create initial reports/analyses for review and provide standard professional advice.
• Offer guidance, coaching, and direction to junior team members in IT Technical Operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• System administration experience with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• General knowledge of WAN and LAN networking.
• Basic understanding of multi-platform distributed environments.
• Experience with IT management tools like ServiceNow, SiteScope, or New Relic (preferred).
• 0-2 years of direct IT experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Work Schedule:

• 100% onsite
• Three 12-hour shifts (6 AM - 6 PM) with rotating Saturdays every three weeks.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
