The JP4 Foundation is Reimagining Youth Mentorship by providing support not only to young kids, but

also the mentors who guide them. JP4 is dedicated to create meaningful and authentic relationships

between students and young adult mentors. Every child and mentor deserves to be seen, experience

belonging, and have the opportunity to thrive. This is all possible when provided with the right tools, a

supportive environment, and consistent mentorship. Our mission isn’t only to guide youth through their

academic journeys but to nurture their hearts and minds.

What We Do :

Through carefully designed programs, we provide kids with structured, nurturing relationships that help

them learn and grow. By pairing them with young adult mentors who share their community and culture,

we foster relationships that are grounded in understanding, shared experiences, and mutual reciprocity.

We see these relationships help students and mentors build resilience and develop essential life skills.

We focus on each student's holistic development, ensuring that they excel not only in school but also in

life. By strengthening the school environment and the broader community, we pave the way for children to

achieve their full potential and lead healthy lives.

Strategic Priorities :

  • E xpand into the Minneapolis Community - Grow our programs to serve more youth in

Minneapolis, deepening our impact and creating opportunities for meaningful connections in new

neighborhoods.

  • Strengthen Development Goals and Processes - Enhance our fundraising strategies, refine
  • organizational plans, and improve processes to support sustainable growth and long-term impact.

  • Launch Social Capital Training Programs - Develop a comprehensive training curriculum to
  • equip mentors and youth with the tools to build strong social networks, expand opportunities, and

    empower lifelong success.

    Responsibilities :

    As a Board Member serving as the Program Development, you will ensure the organization’s programs

    are impactful, mission-aligned, and scalable. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Program Development - Overseeing the design and enhancement of programs to meet the
  • evolving needs of the communities served.

  • I mpact Measurement - Establishing metrics and processes for evaluating the effectiveness and
  • reach of JP4 Foundation programs.

  • Mission Alignment - Ensuring all programs align closely with the Foundation’s mission and
  • strategic vision.

  • Community Engagement - Gathering insights from participants and community stakeholders to
  • inform program improvements.

  • Innovation - Recommending and supporting the implementation of innovative approaches to
  • program delivery.

    Qualifications :

  • Experience in program development, evaluation, or nonprofit operations preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on measuring and achieving impact.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to the JP4 Foundation’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Term and Commitment :

    Board members will serve a two-year term with the option to renew. Active participation in board meetings

    and committees is expected throughout the term to contribute to the organization's growth journey.
