The Role
JPA Health is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Project Manager to join our Life Sciences Communications (PR) Practice. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, has proven experience with pharmaceutical and biotech clients, and is eager to organize and manage our teams through exceptional communication skills and project management fundamentals.

The Responsibilities
As a Sr. Project Manager, you will manage integrated communications deliverables while being a key partner across our cross functional JPA teams and our clients. Responsibilities include:
- Resource Management: Ensure that each project has the right resources assigned with the right skills. PR projects are fast-tracked and often unplanned, so making quick plans and executing high quality work quickly is paramount.
- Client Contracts: The Sr. Project Manager will lead the creation and management of our annual and one-off Statement of Work (contract) with our clients. The goal is to properly plan projects and the relationship to be successful for our clients and JPAs P&L.
- Client Financial & Change Management: Responsible for leading weekly, month-end, quarterly and year-end client financial management activities. This includes the client budget trackers, forecasting and pro-active change management through Change Orders. Also includes creating and maintaining the calendar of financial activities for our clients and JPA
- Communication Excellence: Through the hot sheets, team status meetings to consistently and clearly communicate and document deliverables so JPA cross functional teams know exactly what to do in what order.
- Client Leadership: Lead client discussions and build a trusting relationship so they value and are aware of: Financials, change management, timelines, scope tracking, short- and long-term planning, invoicing & forecasting.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide account teams, fostering professional development and collaboration.
Our ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of project management experience (or 12 years in lieu of a degree).
- Industry knowledge and experience in Life Sciences PR, Marketing or Med Comm agencies required.
- Deep knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools.
- Experienced and comfortable with direct communications with clients – internal and external.
- Demonstrated experience with managing multiple projects across accounts and diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to oversee budgets and meet financial goals.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and adjust strategies and approaches when faced with new situations.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prioritize clear communication to ensure everyone feels valued and supported.
- When faced with challenges, you excel at thinking outside the box, using creativity and resourcefulness to find innovative solutions that benefit both the immediate situation and the long-term goals of the project.

- Competitive pay and opportunities to advance. The anticipated starting pay for this role is between $130,000 - $150,000 annually, based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location. You may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses. We review compensation annually and evaluate readiness for promotions every quarter.
