JPC Group, Inc. is a regional General Contractor specializing in self-performing heavy civil construction with offices in Philadelphia, PA and Blackwood, NJ. JPC serves clients in the Greater Philadelphia region, throughout Southern New Jersey, and South Eastern Pennsylvania. JPC is looking to hire qualified, dedicated, and hard-working candidates with a desire to learn and to build a career in the Civil Construction industry.
Role: Safety Manager
Location: Blackwood, NJ and surrounding region (vehicle required)
Minimum Education: BS/BA – Occupational Safety and/or Construction Management preferred
Experience: 0-3 years; relevant internship is a plus
Software used: MS Office; HCSS Safety; Sage Timberline
Reports to: Field Safety Director/Executive Safety Director

Responsibilities: Direct assistant to field safety director and executive safety director. Candidate will be responsible for maintenance and organization of safety records, including but not limited to training records and documents, meeting records and minutes, incident reports, safety inspections and observations, etc. Candidate will also assist in distribution of safety and general company information via meetings, memos, company newsletter, etc. Periodic field visits may be required. Candidate will also have to complete ongoing safety training.
