JPC Partners is looking for a Cloud Systems Administrator that will help build, maintain, and secure multiple cloud environments for existing and emerging products. The candidate must be experienced in project execution, infrastructure development, infrastructure automation, and operations for multiple platforms in a progressive and collaborative Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with application hosting, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms.

- Maintain the Cloud infrastructure that supports the companies platform of products.
- Provide technical support for any Production issues that may arise.
- Define requirements and implement new automation that contributes to the automation of the infrastructure.
- Ensure the availability, security, scalability, and performance of the platform and services offered.
- Identify root cause for issues and determine short and long term resolutions.
- Lead and support engagements to improve automation capabilities across functional areas.
- Effectively manage problem tickets and service requests from internal users and participate in projects as a technical resource.
- Identify production and project efficiencies and quality improvements.
- Assist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current system.
- Create documentation to capture operational processes.
- As role appropriate, responsible for the design, development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the system enabling it to meet its commitments and system requirements as they relate to security.
- Knowledge of systems administration in a variety of environments – Windows and Linux
- Ability to design, deploy, and manage operating systems, and/or applications on cloud platforms.
- Strong experience designing and implementing infrastructure automation.
- Experience coding and deploying Azure, AWS, or other cloud services.
- Experience with automation/scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Experience configuring server instances and networking with cloud based providers such as Azure or AWS.
- Demonstrated technical and leadership skills in a fast-paced support environment
- Ability to working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, strong client service focus.
- Ability to multitask and do in-depth server troubleshooting.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language appropriate to both technical. and non-technical audiences.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an IT organization providing Infrastructure & Application integration, deployment, support, and automation.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
