JPI is seeking a Senior Consultant to support the federal client in project management and assistance to major organizational transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for overall project management for the call order, overseeing the daily activities of the team, and setting priorities in coordination with the contract manager and federal client. Focus for this role is long-range planning, maintenance of the master schedule, and both technical and subject matter quality control for project deliverables.

Responsibilities:
- Support in progress organizational transformation initiatives with change management expertise, at the direction of the federal client.
- Develop a change management office playbook for managing change across the enterprise.
- Ensure change efforts align with strategic client priorities.
- Conduct assessments and analysis as required and directed to support change processes.
- Provide guidance, direction, and change management expertise by defining and implementing requirements for project-specific change management initiatives.
- Develop approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of training and organizational development projects.
- Serve as a senior technical change management specialist on all projects managed and related matters.
- Discuss both strategic and tactical information as it relates to the unique needs of diverse stakeholder groups.
- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break high level information into details and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs.
- Define, develop, and evaluate performance metrics to obtain organizational unit success.
- Negotiate with multiple stakeholders who have competing or conflicting objectives to ensure cohesive and reachable joint measures of success.
- Lead a range of process improvement activities, which includes planning, performing, and implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain all change management processes and documentation.
- Perform change management audits to verify compliance with policy, procedure, and requirements.
- Assist customers with project-level change management plans.
Requirements
- Providing project management support to include:
- Establishing project management best practices and maintaining project management tools/processes for clients.
- Supervising/leading teams of 5-10 people in executing specialized work.
- Administering project-specific change management initiatives to include:
- Conducting organizational needs assessments to determine organizational readiness for change.
- Developing communication plans, implementation plans, transition plans, and resistance plans for change management initiatives.
- Educating stakeholders regarding the benefits and impacts of recommended change management initiatives.
- Leading major change management initiatives for policy and/or systems projects.
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field. Master's degree plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Experience supporting federal clients.
- Active security clearance/ability to obtain.
