Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Aerosol Line Technician and Engineering Apprentice. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining an aerosol filling line, identifying potential clients for contract filling services, and assisting with machine builds and design projects. This position is designed to provide hands-on learning opportunities in an apprenticeship-like relationship with our lead engineer, offering mentorship and growth toward a future technical or engineering-focused role.
Key Responsibilities:
Aerosol Filling Line Operations:
Operate and monitor the aerosol filling line to ensure optimal production and quality.
Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to keep equipment running efficiently.
Perform quality checks and document production metrics.
Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe work environment.
Client Development for Contract Filling:
Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue potential clients needing contract aerosol filling services.
Provide on-site or virtual tours of the filling line to demonstrate capabilities.
Assist in client communication, quotes, and project timelines as necessary.
Machine Build and Design Support:
Assist in the design and assembly of custom aerosol and packaging machinery.
Collaborate on installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of mechanical and pneumatic systems.
Work closely with the lead engineer on machine design projects and learn to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and CAD designs.
Apprenticeship & Development:
Receive mentorship from the lead engineer, with a focus on learning mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Gain experience in smart manufacturing, machine optimization, and industry-specific technical skills
Attend internal training sessions to develop knowledge in advanced manufacturing technologies and processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
