Title : Mechanical Services Technician III
Location : Ashburn, VA
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Mechanical Services Technician III will be the lead technician responsible for overseeing the maintenance and servicing of mission-critical mechanical systems. This role will ensure compliance with contractual agreements and provide expert guidance on the installation, service, maintenance, and operation of mechanical equipment within critical environments such as data centers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Perform all responsibilities of an HVAC Technician II.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs with reasonable supervision on various HVAC equipment, including but not limited to :
- Air and water-cooled reciprocating chillers
- Centrifugal and screw package chillers
- Natural gas boilers and unit heaters
- Electric duct heaters
- Cooling Towers
- Pneumatic, DDC, and Variable Frequency Drive controls
- HVAC air distribution systems, AHUs, FCUs, fans, and related devices
- Various types of water pumps used in the HVAC industry
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and shop drawings related to the HVAC industry.
- Perform air and water balancing with reasonable supervision.
- Continuously improve technical skills through on-the-job training, employer-provided training, and additional literature or courses.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- The position requires on-site work with no telecommuting options.
- Occasional travel for work may be required.
