The Firmwide Impact Marketing & Communications Team (FIMC) is leading JPMorgan Chase's strategic approach to proactively tell a sustained and coordinated story about its business, economic, and community impact nationally, locally, and internationally. This team uniquely brings to life a 360-degree suite of marketing and communication tactics, engaging Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, Human Resources, and the firm’s major lines of business to amplify community investments, public policy engagement, client stories, and broader impact communications.
As a Local Impact Marketing Lead (US) – Associate – on the Firmwide Impact Marketing and Communications team, you will support the development and execution of marketing efforts aimed at improving JPMorgan Chase's brand reputation among key audiences in strategic local markets across the United States. You will report to the Head of Local Impact Marketing and provide support to multiple Marketing Leads (VPs) to develop local campaigns that reinforce how JPMorgan Chase powers economic growth, uplifts communities, champions opportunity, and is a great place to work. You will be curious and have a self-starter mentality with strong verbal and written communication skills. You should possess thorough organizational skills and have experience working on multiple projects at once and managing coinciding timelines.
Job responsibilities
- Understand brand reputation drivers, audience priorities, competitive landscape, and market/industry elements with implications for FIMC’s objectives and efforts.
- Conduct research within priority markets to aid in market assessments and strategy development.
- Support the development of curated “roadshow” materials for socialization and alignment of strategy, plans, and results to stakeholders and leadership.
- Partner with internal Brand, Media, and Insights teams, as well as external vendors and agencies, to develop creative content and assets, inclusive of story sourcing, pre-production, production, and post-production support, to deliver integrated local marketing campaigns.
- Support content development and management of local market webpages on JPMorgan Chase.com.
- Assist with trafficking creative content and assets to launch within paid and owned channels.
- Manage holistic timelines, meeting cadences, Legal and Compliance review, asset cataloging, and other operational needs.
- Support campaign measurement efforts by packaging results, incorporating learnings, and socializing performance to stakeholders across the firm.
- Think creatively and strategically to find solutions to scale our efforts and operations more efficiently.
- Demonstrate a risk and control mindset, ensuring adherence to firmwide and FIMC processes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3 plus years of experience supporting a team within the marketing field.
- Experience in Impact/Brand Reputation marketing, B2G marketing, public affairs, or other similar focus areas.
- Familiarity with the creative development process, with working knowledge of marketing channel-specific creative strategies and solutions across video, social, digital, sponsorship, and experiential activations.
- Experience working with strategy, creative, and media agencies and/or vendors.
- Past exposure to Legal and Compliance reviews and approvals.
- Well-developed organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities. Must be self-directed, proactive, high energy, detail- and results-oriented.
- Experience working cross-functionally, collaborating with team members and partners across business and staff areas at all levels.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to adjust communication and style based on different audiences and agendas.
- A track record demonstrating personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, anticipating needs, and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Have a working understanding of the multiple verticals within marketing and the lifecycle of a campaign.
