The Firmwide Resiliency Office (FRO), part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, is seeking a talented Resiliency Associate to join our Reporting and Analysis Team in Jersey City, NJ. As an Associate within the Reporting and Analysis Team, you will play a crucial role in advancing the firm's Resiliency Program through Innovation, Automation, and Data Analytics. Your expertise in Data Manipulation and Visualization will be key in developing Business Intelligence solutions that automate reporting processes and enhance Firmwide Resiliency capabilities. You will coordinate discovery and refinement sessions with stakeholders to determine future requirements and assist in the execution of day-to-day workflow, tracking, and monitoring of all FRO reporting. This role offers the opportunity for you to build subject matter expertise in Firmwide Resiliency processes and practices.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement Business Intelligence solutions to automate reporting processes.
- Create visual reporting and model, thematic, and scenario data analytics to enhance Firmwide Resiliency capabilities.
- Coordinate Discovery and Refinement sessions with stakeholders to determine future requirements.
- Create proof of concept wireframes for presentations to senior leaders across the firm.
- Coordinate the user testing, production readiness reviews, and post-production deployment validations.
- Assist in the execution of the day-to-day workflow, tracking, and monitoring of all FRO reporting.
- Build subject matter expertise in Firmwide Resiliency processes and practices.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience in automating processes/reports.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehouse concepts.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Proficiency in Tableau and Alteryx.
- Experience with agile practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to analyze processes and translate high-level business requirements into detailed Jira stories.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with data lake concepts, Databricks working experience is preferred.
- Experience with more than one visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of at least one scripting language, python preferred.
- User experience with LLM and prompt engineering
Candidates must be able to physically work in our Jersey City, NJ office full-time (5 days). The specific details and timing will be determined and communicated by direct management.
