As a Government Associate Commercial Banker in Middle Market Banking, you will be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships. Government industry handles over 2500 client relationships across the country. The team focuses on cities, counties, school districts and other government entities. Government industry work with dedicated product specialists from Treasury & Securities Services, Public Finance, Securities Trading, Asset Management and Leasing to provide the firm's extensive services and products to our clients and prospects.
As a Government Associate Commercial Banker in Middle Market Banking, you will be the key player in client acquisition and maintaining ongoing relationships. You will work with a diverse team focusing on cities, counties, school districts and other government entities. Your role will require a deep understanding of our solutions including Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Commercial Card and Merchant Services. You will work closely with product partners, Corporate Client Banking, Global Corporate Banking, and Core, showcasing your interest in cross border businesses, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to teamwork. Your exceptional work ethic and attention to detail will be highly valued.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- 3 years in a similar banking, venture, credit or treasury role
- Outstanding professional reputation and integrity
- Strong leadership skills required
- Demonstrated ability to develop and retain new and profitable relationships in a highly competitive environment
- Ability to assess risks inherent in complex credit transactions and mitigate, structure and negotiate accordingly
- Extensive knowledge of products and services
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Superior knowledge of the market dynamics and its business environment preferred
- Excellent problem solving, oral, and written communication skills
