As a Conduct Risk Compliance Vice President within the Compliance Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organization, you will be responsible for managing JP Morgan's conduct risk management and appetite frameworks. Your role will require you to work closely with various stakeholders across different functions such as Lines of Business, Corporate Functions, HR, and CCOR. You will need to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, exceptional analytical and risk management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the quarterly Conduct Risk Appetite process, including governance oversight and second line challenge of 1LOD Conduct Risk Appetite Assessments
- Analyze, synthesize, and evaluate qualitative and quantitative data to provide insights and recommendations
- Apply risk management frameworks and processes to identify, measure, monitor and report on Conduct Risk as part of the CCOR framework
- Manage the team’s risk and control environment (CORE), controls testing, audits and exams
- Manage Conduct Risk Management Framework documentation and content, including published Standards and Procedures, governance meeting materials and stakeholder communications, and summaries and presentations to be shared with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate and lead governance meetings and working groups
- Lead and develop team members, promoting a collaborative team environment
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of second line risk management (operational risk and compliance) practices
- High degree of initiative, self-direction, and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated analytical skillset, with experience using one or more data analysis/visualization/Business Intelligence tools
- Strong written communication skills, with intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5 years of financial services experience with demonstrated progression of responsibilities (Operational Risk/Conduct Risk, Compliance, or Control Management experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end processes
- Prior people management experience
