What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equities Derivatives Structuring - Analyst position at JPMorgan Chase?
We are looking for an analyst to join the Americas equities structuring team, a dynamic team focused on developing new and innovative equity derivatives and structured investments, including developing new indices on which to offer these products. You will be involved in the ideation, pricing and origination of new products and indices for our financial institutions clients (broker-dealers, insurance companies and banks).
Job Summary:
As an analyst within the Americas Equities Structuring Team, you will be involved all aspects of index development including data analysis, investment strategy research, documentation, implementation and marketing of the strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Development of new products and payouts linked to such indices, including analysis, pricing, documentation and marketing
- Liaise with various teams including Sales, Trading, Quants, Research, Legal as well as other members of the Structuring team
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a structuring, trading and/or quant role
- Proven data analysis skills (Python coding experience preferred)
- Product knowledge in derivatives, including standard options pricing models (e.g., local volatility) and structured investments
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to partner with a broad range of people
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Relentless attention to detail
