As an Executive Compensation Strategy & Design Vice President within our executive Compensation function, you will be instrumental in the strategy, design, and execution of our executive compensation program. Your role will involve analyzing compensation design and practices, presenting insights to senior management, supporting the Compensation & Management Development Committee (CMDC) of the Board, and articulating our compensation strategy and program in external disclosures.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive analysis and develop recommendations for the executive compensation program, including design, governance, implementation, and disclosures
- Evaluate peer compensation programs, industry trends, and SEC filings (e.g., proxy statements, annual reports, 8-Ks, Form 4s)
- Prepare and manage materials for the CMDC, including coordinating with stakeholders and tracking meeting follow-ups
- Contribute to the development of the Compensation Discussion & Analysis section of the proxy statement
- Analyze proxy voting guidelines and pay-for-performance methodologies of institutional shareholders and proxy advisory firms
- Engage in shareholder outreach efforts relating to Say-on-Pay and other compensation-related proposals
- Work closely with Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Tax, and other functions on executive compensation design, governance, and disclosure considerations & requirements
- Drive and coordinate the development of human capital related disclosures (e.g., 10-K)
- Monitor and respond to regulatory developments to support ongoing compliance
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related area
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in executive compensation, finance, regulatory reporting, or a related field
- Highly motivated self-starter and strategic thinker with a proven track record of sound judgement, intellectual curiosity, personal integrity, and a strong work ethic
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze technical topics and data, navigate between the big picture and details, and present conclusions concisely
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal leadership and influencing skills
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
