As a Vice President in Financial Analysis on the Lending Finance & Pricing Team, you will be responsible for the execution of pricing strategies, ownership of pricing assumptions, monitoring of financial results, and support of pricing strategy. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and own the implementation of various assumptions for pricing, including expenses, capital, and credit losses.
- Lead the pricing forum to gather input from key stakeholders such as field, legal, risk, compliance, and fair lending, and document and track decisions.
- Manage a team responsible for day-to-day pricing execution activities.
- Develop new reporting on profitability and other key pricing metrics to support strategic pricing decisions.
- Oversee the approach to pricing execution, determining which processes are automated versus manual, and ensure all necessary controls are in place and properly executed.
- Define and oversee the execution of pricing tests to determine optimal tradeoffs between rate and volume, in collaboration with finance and analytic teams.
- Prepare and present analysis for key stakeholders, including Product, Risk, and Sales teams.
- Handle ad-hoc requests related to the financial impacts of new strategies, and updates to pricing or assumptions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance-related or quantitative field
- 5 years of experience in consumer lending, treasury, finance, or P&A at a financial services firm
- Strong aptitude in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to create financial models, reporting, and repeatable processes
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Basic understanding of a lending P&L
- Basic experience using SAS/SQL
- People management experience
