You are an integral part of helping Product Partners solve difficult control related issues through collaborative problem-solving. Utilizing your deep understanding of risk and controls coupled with your ability to collaborate closely with cross functional teams, you will help guide Product Partners in the areas of risk monitoring, oversight, and controls. Indeed, your vital help allows our Product Partners to provide cutting edge external and internal products that exceed customer expectations.
- Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
- Provide consulting services to inform and coach product owners on a robust control framework with a focus on effective risk management of their product or process.
- Triaging broken processes, taking action to resolve and land with new ownership.
- Oversee Action Plans (APs) and offer support to AP Owners to ensure timely delivery. In certain situations, assume ownership of APs if there is no other designated owner.
- Provide Audit support and advocacy.
- Assist in various Change Management activities (Business Assessment and Readiness, Risk Materiality, etc.)
- Oversee large breaks/issues as appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Business Control Managers, Legal, Product, Finance) to address and resolve risk-related business issues.
- Track and escalate risk issues to leadership as necessary. Execute monitoring controls where necessary.
- 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
- Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
- 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in consulting or related experience.
- 3 years in a payment processing, financial or product related role; understanding of the payments space.
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle.
- Comfortable with change, debate, and conflicting objectives or priorities
- Drives results through leadership, people, communication and influence.
- Proven experience driving large initiatives spanning across the firm.
- Confidence to work independently and develop creative ways to achieve goals. Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills with cross-functional leaders.
