Job Summary:
As a Program Trading Risk Associate within the Equities business at J.P. Morgan, you will be part of a dynamic and competitive team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work as an execution trader on the US Program Trading (PT) Risk team
- Handle trading of large portfolios of stocks
- Engage with the PT sales team on facilitating client risk trades and ETF creations and redemptions
- Facilitate resolutions on ad hoc queries pertaining to the booking, profit/loss, or risk representation for the program trading desk
- Utilize portfolio construction models to hedge and reduce the risk associated with portfolio management strategies.
- Engage proactively with internal stakeholders, monitor ongoing activities, and provide research on market structure, liquidity trends and risk factor returns
- Foster partnerships with internal stakeholders across global equity teams, technology, risk, and control functions.
- Participate in and contribute to the various strategic initiatives, improving evolving processes and business architecture
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Strong understanding of equities execution products, market structure, and the regulatory landscape.
- Clear, logical thinker with qualitative skills, including effective communication and presentation.
- Strong team player who partners well with principals of the platform, including Sales trading and Research.
- Self-motivated individual with the drive and skill to seek out market opportunities and produce thoughtful trade ideas.
- Strong proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency and desire to manage risk and work closely with other traders in the team
- Coding experience in Python is good to have

- Preferred Series 7, Series 55, and Series 63 licenses.
