About the Team:
As a Senior Associate, Portfolio Manager, you will be a member of the Private Bank’s Endowments and Foundations Group (EFG), reporting to the EFG CIO. The team is responsible for managing global, multi-asset portfolios on a discretionary basis for endowments, foundations, and large/institutional-thinking family offices. The team performs original research to make strategic, tactical, and vehicle-level decisions across traditional and alternative asset classes. The team comprises individuals in New York, London, and Mumbai and is highly collaborative across regions and with other teams within the firm. With over $25 billion in assets under management, the team currently serves clients in the US, EMEA, and Latin America.
Job Responsibilities:
- Play a central role in trade planning, pre and post-trade analysis, and performance analysis
- Act as a “right hand” of the CIO, and serve as a central point of contact for inquiries to the team
- Assist with investment research, working with the CIO and other PMs on the team, with the potential for greater ownership and portfolio impact over time
- Collaborate with global internal partners including client advisors, trade execution specialists, and 3rd party manager due diligence
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure
- Deep understanding of markets, risk management and multi-asset portfolio management
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment on a global team
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Advanced degree and/or CFA charter holder a plus
