Job Description

Home Lending seeks to increase market share of Home Builder purchase business. This position owns the business development aspects of builder and developer relationships for Chase Home Lending. The Regional Builder Manager is responsible for program execution and results. The position reports to and is accountable to the National Condo Home Builder Manager.

As a Regional Builder Manager, in Home Lending you will need to source new relationships and grow purchase business within existing and newly established relationships. Responsibilities include regional Condo Home Builder Program build out, market analysis to identify opportunities, partner relations (internal and external), and service level execution within relationships. Must be able to influence Sales to inspire program utilization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take responsible for ongoing Business Development activities focused on creating new relationships and deepening existing relationships with builders and developers by being in the field.
  • Serve as primary point-of-contact and subject matter expert for Senior Lending Managers, Lending Managers and Home Lending Advisors.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to assign a Home Lending Advisor to the builder relationship. Monitor and assess the performance and effectiveness of the loan originator dedicated to servicing each relationship.
  • Partner and collaborate with Lending Manager and Senior Lending Manager within the region to ensure that sales strategy and tactics are being executed.
  • Assist with identifying program participants (internal identification) and coordinate training and workshops ensuring Lending Managers and Home Lending Advisors receive development and skills training.
  • Serve as chief liaison to the region’s sales team regarding program changes, updates, policy and procedures, and act as a single-point-of-contact to the National Condo Home Builder Manager for the region.
  • Compile and share performance results with Sales leadership and the National Condo Home Builder Manager.

Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

  • Ability to build and manage successful relationships within and outside the organization
  • Five-plus years of sales experience
  • Strong New Construction Condo/Home Builder knowledge
  • Successful candidates would typically have 7 years of lending experience
  • Strong loan origination and purchase mortgage knowledge
  • Proven business development experience
  • Ability to influence Home Lending Advisors and Managers
  • Strong presentation and excellent follow up skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

**This position does require travel locally and out of state.**
