Job Summary:
As a Purchase & Sales Department Member within J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, you will be tasked with balancing, reconciling, and comparing every security trade processed by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC on behalf of affiliates, firm customers, and the Introducing Brokers of Global Clearing Services. Your role will involve supporting various lines of business, including Prime Brokerage, Asset Wealth Management, and Equities Markets Trading, with a strong emphasis on control and risk aversion. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and processing transactions using both proprietary systems and industry-wide vendor applications. Additionally, you will engage with stakeholders to ensure new businesses and trade flows function properly and coordinate with technology for trade investigation and process improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Balance and reconcile all transactions processed through JPMS LLC.
- Notify Correspondents and trading desks of unmatched trades.
- Resolve all suspense account breaks.
- Monitor open fail-to-receive/deliver items for valid comparisons.
- Review rejected transactions and assist stakeholders in updating/correcting trades upon request.
- Identify thematic issues and suggest improvements.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure new businesses and trade flows work properly for Purchase & Sales.
- Coordinate with technology for trade investigation and process improvements.
