Staff Specialist (Hourly)
Requirements
- Troubleshoot facilities and production machinery
- Install, maintain, repair or fabricate machinery
- Use test equipment, such as vibration meters, tachometers, dial indicators, and support equipment, volt/ohn meter
- Perform basic carpentry and plumbing when needed
- Service and repair gear boxes
- Complete paperwork required on work order requests
- Change light fixtures in accordance with any regulatory requirements
- Start up and shut down fire pump, valves, and sprinklers
- Start up and shut down the boiler and keep records of condition and add chemicals, as needed
- Start up and shut down air compressor system
- Operate computers that monitor and control machine and facility equipment
- Submit and maintain log of all purchase order requests
- Primary contact for all facility alarm systems
- Serves as on-call representative for maintenance emergencies when needed.
- Serves as liaison for on-site contractor resource for all facilities work order requests.
