Job Title: Senior Estimator

Job Overview: JPS Electrical Services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects, primarily in the commercial sector. This role requires expertise in cost analysis, material take-offs, and proficiency in using Procore software to manage and track estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs
• Utilize Procore software to manage and track estimates, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to develop comprehensive estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure all project requirements are met
• Analyze historical data and market trends to develop competitive pricing strategies
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimating
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating within the electrical or construction industry
• Proficiency in Procore software and strong computer skills
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating
