Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group and JPS Health Network’s Department of Family Medicine Department have an opening for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider in Viola Pitts. Viola Pitts Clinic is a large primary clinic with primary care, medicine specialties, and dentistry all under one roof. It is a fantastic team environment of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatric and Advanced Practice Professionals.
As the county hospital system, JPS has been serving the residents of Tarrant County for over 100 years. This is a great opportunity to treat complex medical issues, and to provide compassionate, quality care to those patients that need it most.
Schedule - Tuesday-Friday 10 hour shifts.
Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider practices under the direct supervision of the supervising physician and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations within the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. This position will also educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments; may also conduct physicals, order tests and serve as a patient's healthcare provider.
Duties And Essential Job Functions
Collaborates with the physician in overseeing and coordinating the multidisciplinary care delivered to all patients, to optimize quality patient care.
Reviews patient medical charts to assist physician with diagnosis, treatment and care management.
Makes appropriate patient referrals as necessary.
Monitors guidelines for the management of care and for ensuring that the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.
Provides care education to patients and families.
Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients as assigned to improve patient outcomes and increase patient satisfaction scores.
Maintains a collaborative environment with providers, clinical staff, and support staff.
Supports academic, educational and research endeavors.
Attends Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings; and is an active participant in the process.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing OR Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Minimum of 2 years working independently as an advanced practice provider in a primary care setting
- Must have current Texas Physician Assistant license or Texas APRN license with FNP certification
- Valid, unrestricted DEA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
