Job Summary:
Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group and JPS Health Network are looking for a part time Dentist to join the Department of Family Medicine team at our True Worth Clinic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs dentistry for patients of all ages and communicates dental after care instructions clearly to patients and provides dental health education at chairside.
Directs and evaluates work activities for team members including the professional, para-professional and ancillary staff positions.
Monitors and evaluates programs and services in adherence to program standards, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, the Joint Commission local ordinances, and state and federal laws applicable to assigned dental clinic.
Serves as a dental resource providing dental health education through lectures, literature, and training while participating in community health events.
Improves and facilitates patient access to the dental clinic.
Adheres to Network, Division, and Dental Department policies and/or procedures, guidelines, quality improvement activities, compliance programs and code of ethics.
Maintains and continues professional growth and skills development by attending and participating in workshops, seminars and other continuous education programs to keep abreast of the latest trends in the designated field of expertise.
Maintains positive and effective relationships with patients, family members, team members and other networks and providers.
Attends meetings as required and serves on various committees as directed.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Doctor of Dental Surgery and or Doctor of Dental Medicine through the Commission of American Dental Association and the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners accredited dental school.
Active Dental License from the State of Texas.
Two plus years of experience working independently as a dentist.
