Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities
- Manages the daily activities and operations of laundry services.
- Partakes in equipment acquisition and analyzes the physical condition of equipment to schedule needed maintenance.
- Administers purchases of supplies including but not limited to chemicals, paper products and other departmental equipment.
- Assists with the preparation and monitoring of departmental budget ensuring expenditures are kept within budgetary guidelines.
- Evaluates, selects, and maintains the inventory of linen and chemicals to meet the network’s needs.
- Ensures quality and consistent compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
- Monitors and advises on linen distribution policies, procedures, training, and safety measures.
- Develops and maintains files and reports summarizing inspections, requirements, and inventory.
- Oversees the normal conduct of affairs, following policy guidelines on matters of attendance, attention to duties, personal conduct and adherence to prescribed work procedures by subordinates.
- Communicates with team members to provide updates on workflow operational challenges and assign task.
- Trains, counsels and evaluates employees consistently and in a timely manner using appropriate guidelines and documenting appropriately.
- Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
- Works frequently with individuals at director level or above.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or minimum of 5 years of linen management and laundry service.
- 5 years of Textile Processing experience to include 3 years of supervisory experience.
- 5 years of progressive Textile Processing Management/Supervision experience.
