Job Description
Job Summary: The Patient Transporter is responsible for transporting patients, staff, etc., and materials (medical equipment, supplies, etc.) to all areas within the JPS Health Network.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities
- Transports patients (via wheelchairs, gurney, or beds) as directed.
- Provides friendly and courteous customer service to all customers.
- Actively participates, communicates and engages with medical staff during the hand off process. Asks questions when needed.
- Assists in maintaining adequate availability of equipment and supplies. Notifies director or lead if inventories get low.
- Performs other job related duties as required.
