Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group is seeking a Full Time Associate Medical Director Physician to join the Tarrant County Correctional Health Team at the Tarrant County Jail in Downtown Fort Worth, TX.
As the county hospital system, JPS has been serving the residents of Tarrant County for over 100 years. This is a wonderful opportunity for innovative and passionate individuals to treat complex medical issues, and to provide compassionate, quality care to those patients that need it most.
Location: Tarrant County Jail - 10 minutes North of JPS Hospital.
Schedule: Full Time. Monday-Friday / occasional rotating Saturdays
Essential Functions Of The Role
Makes appropriate patient referrals as necessary.
Monitors guidelines for the management of care and for ensuring that the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by Tarrant County Department of Corrections, JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.
Provides care education to patients.
Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients as assigned to improve patient outcomes.
Maintains a collaborative environment with other providers, clinical staff, and support staff.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Applicant Requirements:
Must have a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an approved college of Medicine/Osteopathy
Must be board-eligible/certified physician in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Have or be eligible for Texas Medical License
Preferred Experience
Highly preferred prior experience working in a large county jail system or similar environment as a Physician.
