Duties
- Conduct group training sessions for dogs of various ages, breeds and temperaments.
- Develop customized training sessions tailored to the specific needs of different types of dogs needs.
- Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to pet owners on their dog's development.
- Educate clients on proper pet care, behavior management, and training techniques.
- Maintain a safe and clean training environment for both dogs and clients.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall service quality.
Experience
- Previous experience in dog training or related fields such as veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or animal care is preferred.
- Skills in customer service are essential for effectively communicating with pet owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, particularly when handling larger breeds or equipment.
- A background in pet sitting or general pet care will be advantageous.
