What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ranch Manager position at JPV Farms?
Candidate MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE experience with beef cattle operations including calving, cow/calf care, nutrition, feeding, haying, herd health, vaccinations, herding, chute work, chute maintenance, fence repairs, equipment and ranch maintenance, pasture rotation, pivot irrigation, tractor use, equipment repair, upkeep of property, bedding. As the primary herdsmen who will need the ability to work alone, make good decisions, and also be able to work with other people. Ranch is located in the beautiful Front Range of Colorado, with seasonal although milder weather conditions. There is no on the job training, so our operation is only interested in someone with experience and competency. Although we value your time, please avoid applying if you haven't had many years of experience in this field. Work conditions are good. You will need your own transportation to and from work. We do not provide housing.
