Job Title: Residential Service Technician
Start Date: Immediately
Salary Range: $20.00-$25.00/hourly depending on experience (DOE)
Essential Job Functions:
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS along with BambooHR to recruit and hire top talent.
- Support Talent Acquisition Efforts: Actively participate in the recruitment process, assisting with sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for various roles within JR & Co. Inc.
- Facilitate Pre-Employment Requirements: Manage the administrative aspects of pre-employment checks, including phone screenings, coordinating drug screenings, OSHA certifications (as applicable), employment verifications, and background checks.
- Champion the Onboarding Experience: Facilitate engaging and informative new hire onboarding orientations, ensuring all new team members are set up for success.
- Ensure Compliance and Documentation: Verify and process new hire documentation, including I-9/E-Verification, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Maintain organized and up-to-date HR and recruitment files.
- Assist with HR Administration: Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data collection, and generating HR-related reports.
- Contribute to HR Reporting: Assist in pulling reports reflecting HR-related data, including recruitment metrics.
- Other Duties: Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Human Resources Manager to support the overall HR function.
Job Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage interview scheduling (phone, virtual, in-person, across time zones).
- Candidate Communication: Primary contact for candidates; provide updates and ensure positive experience.
- ATS Management: Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS for data integrity and compliance.
- Posting & Sourcing Support: Assist with job description posting and basic sourcing.
- Background & Onboarding Support: Initiate/track pre-employment checks; assist with onboarding admin.
- Interview Logistics: Coordinate interview rooms, materials, and resources.
- Travel & Expense Management: Arrange candidate travel and process expenses with the Administrative team.
- Reporting & Data Entry: Assist with recruitment reports and maintain data accuracy.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external agencies/vendors as directed.
- Process Improvement: Identify ways to streamline recruitment processes.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive candidate/employee information discreetly.
- Other Admin Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in HR support, recruitment coordination, or administrative assistance.
- Experience directly supporting recruitment activities is highly desirable.
Required and Preferred Abilities:
- Detail-Oriented: Possesses a strong ability to identify discrepancies and errors with meticulous attention to detail, crucial for accurate candidate and employee records.
- Experience with recruiting and ATS software, LinkedIn, Indeed, BambooHR.
- Professional Proficiency in Spanish: Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in Spanish is a significant asset in our diverse workplace. (Preferred)
- Flexible and Adaptable: Enjoys a variety of tasks and can easily adapt to changing priorities and the demands of a fast-paced recruitment environment.
- Excellent Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain well-organized records and processes.
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database software: Comfortable using standard office applications and HR-related database systems.
- Maintain a Valid Driver License: Ability to travel locally for occasional recruitment-related errands.
- People-Oriented: Enjoys interacting with people and building positive relationships with candidates and employees.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Must pass initial drug screening and participate in a random drug screening program.
- Primarily work indoors in a shared office environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35lbs occasionally.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time while working at a computer.
- Occasional ability to travel for HR and recruitment.
