Job Title: Residential Sales Manager
Start Date: Immediately
Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000/annually Commissions and Bonuses
Position Overview: JR & Co., Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager responsible for leading and supporting the sales team to ensure they meet their sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service. This role aims to develop the sales team while maintaining accountability and providing essential training and resources. The Sales Manager will oversee sales meetings, manage KPIs, facilitate new hire training, and ensure effective pipeline management.
Essential Functions:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Oversee the sales team to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Facilitate regular sales meetings, providing training and resources for the team.
KPI Management:
- Monitor sales representatives' performance against established KPIs.
- Ensure timely completion of KPIs and provide training based on performance data.
Training and Onboarding:
- Develop and deliver training materials for new hires to ensure readiness for success.
- Organize and oversee the onboarding process for new team members.
Pipeline Management:
- Analyze and evaluate pipeline reports to ensure effective management by sales reps.
- Conduct one-on-one sessions with sales reps as needed for guidance and support.
Interviewing and Hiring:
- Participate in interviews and progressively take on the responsibility of conducting them independently.
- Collaborate with the hiring team to ensure appropriate candidates are selected.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Residential Sales team.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in sales management or a related role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics and implementing effective training solutions.
- Familiarity with sales processes and pipeline management.
- Ability to train and mentor new hires effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Indoor office environment with routine visits to field sites.
- Use of hands for work at a computer, taking notes, etc.
- Vision adequate for reading monitors, documents, and fine print.
- Prolonged sitting and working at a desk.
- Ability to move freely (walking, bending, etc.) to visit field sites.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required.
