Ticket Taker                                                                                                      Kissimmee FL or surrounding area Jr. Davis Construction Company Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to fill the position of a Ticket Taker.  We are one of the largest heavy highway and civil construction firms in the state with over 900 employees, while still retaining a family business atmosphere. COMPENSATION : Based on experience. Our OJT (On the Job Training) program will allow you to move up in our company as your skill set expands. Responsibilities : Keep track of materials imported / exported by dump trucks to job sites Generate tickets for import / export materials being transported Report daily amount of materials transported. Signal driver in aligning and spacing loads according to specifications when necessary. Follow all policies and procedures and meet all performance goals Other duties may be assigned at times Requirements : 1-year’ experience working as a Ticket Taker preferred Valid driver license At times you will be driving a company vehicle / your MVR must be clear Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times Must be computer literate Fluent Bilingual in English / Spanish – required Able to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Qualifications : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred .    Work Environment : Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 75 pounds.
