Quality Coordinator

Job Duties
- Understand and follow blueprints, fabrication drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Perform final inspections on parts, checking for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and to uphold company reputation.
- Learn the JRMW processes involved with the completion of parts.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Identify and resolve quality issues to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and implement best practices to reduce waste and variation and improve quality.
- Clearly communicate processes and technical challenges to stakeholders.
- Document inspections, root cause analyses, and process improvements.
- Work on projects of varying complexity and manage customer-specific requirements.
- Train team members on quality processes and procedures.
- Determine quality improvement parameters and initiate corrective actions.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience:Degree or certification as a Quality Engineer, manufacturing and/or minimum 3 years related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge:Able to read and comprehend drawings. Able to follow written and oral instructions. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages, and decimals. Able to understand and use the metric system. Able to work independently, problem solve and communicate effectively. Knowledge of the English language is required for the interpretation of instructions and technical requirements from the customer, which may be provided in English only.
- Physical demands: Able to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Must use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination skills. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in a manufacturing environment. The employee may also lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Must be willing to help fellow team members with tasks that may not necessarily involve normal job duties to relieve burden on them and contribute to team goals when needed.
- MUST BE EXTREMELY DETAIL ORIENTED & ORGANIZED.
- MUST HAVE EXCELLENT WRITTEN & VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
- Must be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment.
- Must be able to work efficiently and safely, minimizing distractions during work hours.
- Must be able to work independently and problem solve effectively.
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must see the end of the day as when the to-do list is done instead of what the time is on the clock.

Work Environment
This position will be located in a production manufacturing setting with exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the manufacturing work environment can be loud.
