The CARS Tour, a premier Late Model Touring Series, is currently seeking a motivated Digital Media Manager. The Digital Media Manager will focus on the digital and social presence of the CARS Tour. This role requires extensive knowledge and passion for social media and digital marketing. This role is responsible for implementing CARS Tour digital/social media strategies, tactics, and growth by way of creating, updating, maintaining, and progressing the organization’s digital and social media properties. The individual in this role will accomplish this by engaging online digital media audiences and helping maintain relationships with fans, sponsors, and external partners.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Partnership team to create digital marketing campaigns for sponsor partners and internal initiatives.
  • Manage all CARS Tour day-to-day social media activities.
  • Conceptualize social media content and campaigns to drive greater relevance, engagement and grow external digital media communities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Partnership team to ideate content/campaigns for team partners to gain exposure and ensure sponsorship ROI.
  • Oversee measurement, analytics, and benchmarking programs to measure the effectiveness of the digital media platforms.
  • Research data, online digital platforms, and communication opportunities to best position the organization as a digital media focal point
  • Maintain and gain up-to-date knowledge of digital media trends, technologies, and integrated marketing strategy to ensure continued digital media resourcefulness
  • Manage the capture and development of all social and digital content as it relates to CARS Tour.
  • Track, manage and organize social analytics and partner analytics.
  • Any other marketing, partnership or social/digital activities as assigned.
  • Create photo and video content for CARS social/digital platforms
  • Assist in the management of organization’s websites to ensure complete accuracy, relevancy, and customer satisfaction
  • Operate content calendar to populate all CARS social channels with pertinent, entertaining, and professionally-written content

Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel to all race weekends and be comfortable with extended days/nights
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital media platforms and online marketing experience
  • Must be proficient with content capture editing (shortform and longform).
  • Ability to capture content via phone or camera when needed
  • Proven track record of creating informed, strategic campaigns and content
  • Must possess strategic planning, analytical and research skills
  • Ability to think creatively and be a self-starter
  • Must be proactive and punctual with strong planning and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, creative writing and organizational skills
  • Ability to engage and interact with digital media supporters, fans, sponsors and partners
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment, fostering positive communication and collaboration amongst a variety of internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Abilities

Education: Two-year College or University or equivalent related experience

Experience: 2 years related experience.

Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite Adobe Programs
